keys go in locks
opening front doors
and number codes
turn off house alarms
some put eggs in the fridge
and the carton protects
the eggs and the shells
protect the yolks
others turn on computers
with passwords
and read news websites:
everything is safe
everyone is safe
even the eggs
but don’t be alarmed
